First Thanksgiving without Grandma & Grandpa was okay... It was a little weird, I almost cried when we went to say our goodbyes and Grandma wasn't there. Other than that, it was a nice day. I got to hold baby cousin Aubrey! She's adorable
I hope that everyone else had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

It was also nice not to be speaking about politics and crap all day. In fact it hasn't come up at all this break so far. The whole health care bill thing really grates on my nerves and I've already been in such a terrible mood the past week or two for other reasons, so it's just good not to have it be a topic of conversation. I'm happy for that.

Oh, and I'm really thankful I got to do alot of baking for the dinner! (: Baking is really relaxing and completely calmed my nerves on Wednesday... Pictures!

Garlic Bread
Kind of an experiment recipe, I made a smaller batch of the usual bread dough I make and added in garlic seasonings... It came out alright, maybe a little dry, I think when I make it again I'll try adding another egg and some more garlic powder.

Pumpkin Pie
Still in the oven... Typical Libby's recipe, it turned out good, I think. (: Took forever to bake though!

Cinnamon Bread
My aunt requested I make this again, sooo I did. (: It's a regular cinnamon roll bread, maybe not the prettiest but people like it! There were three but my dad & stepmom took one for breakfast, haha.

Banana Crisp Pie
Another experiment recipe, totally need to redo this one. It's a banana creme pie with a chocolate rice crispy crust, but I didn't have enough chocolate chips for the crust ): So it never set completely right and tasted kinda soggy. Oops! Still good though, haha.

Apron!
I made a little apron for when I bake! This is after it was all done and I was just waiting for the pumpkin pie to finish baking. You can't see the end but it has two pockets & the ruffle goes all the way around the bottom. (: I'm happy with it! Aaaaand I'm hoping I don't look crazy fat, my computer is stretching images so I can't tell how I look in it right now lol
